Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

Reguscript Consultancy is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service quality in all aspects of academic publishing support. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and outline your responsibilities as a client, our approach to data handling, publication ethics, refund processes, and related matters. By engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

  1. Collection and Use of Personal Information: Reguscript Consultancy collects only the personal information that is essential for providing our services. This includes your name, email address, contact number, institutional affiliation, manuscript details, and journal preferences. The information you provide is used to process service requests, communicate progress updates, and coordinate publication efforts with journals or third-party specialists involved in the editorial process. All data is handled with strict confidentiality and is never used for advertising, profiling, or resale purposes. We may share limited personal information with carefully selected collaborators such as formatting partners or journal representatives, but only when required to complete the service you have requested. These third parties are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and in compliance with our confidentiality standards. If you wish to review, update, or request deletion of your personal information, you may do so by contacting us at contact mail id

  1. International Data Transfers: Given our global client base, personal information collected through our services may be transferred to or stored in countries outside your residence. These transfers are conducted with appropriate safeguards in place to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
  2. Author Responsibilities and Ethics: Authors who submit manuscripts through Reguscript Consultancy confirm that the work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another publication. Proper citations must be provided for any previously published material used within the manuscript. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of and have approved the submission, and takes full responsibility for the accuracy of the content and the integrity of the author list. Requests to modify authorship after submission are not permitted unless mandated by the journal and supported by all co-authors. It is the author’s responsibility to ensure compliance with ethical standards, including plagiarism checks and originality verification. If a publication fee is applicable for the selected journal, the author agrees to make timely payment in accordance with the journal’s or our service guidelines.
  3. Manuscript Withdrawal & Cancellation: Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript or cancel our services under specific circumstances. If Reguscript Consultancy is unable to identify a suitable journal that meets the author’s stated preferences, or if the journal’s publication fee exceeds the author’s budget and the manuscript has not yet been submitted, a withdrawal request may be approved without incurring service charges.

However, no refund or cancellation will be entertained once the manuscript has been submitted to a journal, accepted, or reached advanced stages of production such as typesetting, proofing, or DOI assignment. Additionally, if an author proceeds to submit the manuscript directly to a journal that we have recommended—bypassing our submission service—the engagement will be considered void and ineligible for cancellation or refund.
